Educational Qualification: (As on 15.11.2016)
1. Superintendent of Approved Schools for Boys - (i) (a) A First or Second class Degree in B.A. (or) B.Sc. (or) B.Com. (or) (b) A Diploma in Criminology and Forensic Science AND (ii) B.T. or L.T. or B.Ed., Degree
2. Psychologist in Department of Social Defence - A degree of B.A. (Hons) or M.A. (Psychology)
3. Psychologist in Tamil Nadu Jail Service - M.A. (Psychology) Provided that other things being equal, preference will be given to candidates who have undergone training or who possess experience for a period of not less than one year in testing or clinical work in the field of Psychology.
4. Psychologist in Government Institute for Mentally Retarded, Tambaram - i) Post Graduate degree in Psychology ii) Experience for a period of not less than three years in the field of Education (or) Training or Vocational Rehabilitation of the mentally retarded
